STANDING UP AGAINST XENOPHOBIA IN GUGS

"The recent string of violent attacks instigated by xenophobia has not only left fear amongst our African brothers and sisters who have come to South Africa seeking refuge, but has also set off a shocking realisation that we as South Africans have no understanding or respect for the other cultures on this continent we call home.

We the youth would like to educate and integrate with these cultures, not only to eradicate the misconceptions South Africans seem to have about cultures outside of our borders but also eliminate what has quickly become a human rights issue.

Join us on 1 June as we learn about these cultures through the form of music and art and find out how we, as individuals can help in eradicating this misguided hatred."
