FRESHLYGROUND RELEASE MA’CHERI AND LAUNCH SUMMER TOUR
I witnessed first hand Freshlyground’s metamorphosis from a small time group that played in smoky hangout spots in and around Cape Town to a multi-platinum, award-winning, Europe touring ensemble, and I must say that it is nothing short of incredible.
It’s been 3 years since the group released Nomvula, an album that scanned more than 250 000 copies; they have decided to follow that up with a potentially equally explosive curiously titled Ma’Cheri.
Lead singer Zolani Mahola says that the album is an apt reflection of the creative life of Freshlyground. “We are a group of individuals who are interested in
a range of musical styles and the record is a reflection of this schizophrenic musical sensibility or non-sensibility as the case may be,” she says.
The album’s lead single “Pot Belly” is classic Freshlyground – heart-warming, and catchy. If the way the radio and fans have received is anything to go by, then Ma’Cheri will surely be one of the biggest sellers this coming summer.

bad credit history payday loans was particularly
quick to get the ball rolling, and also to this level they have been quite beneficial.
I didn’t even look at pushing via with payday advance loan.
Nevertheless, following I had offered Americash the many info along with the appraisal was comprehensive, they started off to come
to be significantly less and significantly less 100 payday loan responsive.
